In the months to come, winners (and losers) in all areas of life will emerge as the full impact of the pandemic becomes clear.

For the world of business and professional services, the firms that will ultimately prosper will be those that can respond with greatest agility to the shocks inflicted on our organisations, systems, clients and markets – and to the new normal that emerges from it all.

It is important to remember that many of the shifts were already in progress,  their course has simply been accelerated. The most obvious of these shifts (alongside the increased adoption of AI) was the move to remote working – something that has been enabled by technology and which has allowed organisations all over the world to establish a new business-as-usual.

Free webinar – Leading and motivating your team in a virtual environment

In our forthcoming webinar on 22 July 2020 guest speaker, Dan Leatherdale, will be discussing Leading and motivating your team in a virtual environment

In this 45-minute webinar, Dan will focus specifically on four key questions professionals are asking as they look to harness the benefits of working virtually while reducing the possible negative effects.

  1. How to communicate effectively via technology so that you gain its advantages while avoiding the risks that it also brings.
  2. How to retain a sense of ownership and accountability among teams in the absence of the behavioural cues we get from the workplace and from our colleagues
  3. How to promote learning, innovation and thought generation in the absence of informal opportunities to share thoughts, give recognition and offer feedback.
  4. How to protect motivation, resilience and team morale when people are dispersed, possibly isolated, and potentially experiencing fatigue and despondency as they adjust to a different way of working.

Dan will also offer a series of practical leadership tactics that will enable senior people to help their teams be aligned, happy and productive through the months to come.
